Coinsource installs machine number 121 in Oklahoma City
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – July 27, 2017 – Coinsource, the world’s largest bitcoin ATM network, today announced the first-ever bitcoin ATM installation in Oklahoma State. Coinsource’s new market entrance came in the wake of repeated resident requests for access to bitcoin in Oklahoma City, now the 27th most populous city in the country. The machine was placed in the Southwestern hub of the city at Speed Mart 1, located on 3462 SW 29th St, and will be 24/7 accessible.
Coinsource CEO, Sheffield Clark said, “We are thrilled to give the people of Oklahoma City cheap and easy access to our generation’s hottest asset. The trend we’ve noticed over the last six months is holding true; more people are leaving behind the complexity of digital asset exchanges and opting to buy and sell bitcoin at physical, conveniently placed machines. While we plan to install many more here, and in neighboring Tulsa, the first machine is strategically located midway between the city center and the Will Rogers International Airport.”
With Oklahoma’s median household income among the lowest in the country, sitting at $36,797, Coinsource bitcoin ATMs offers an alternative form of value and way to pay for goods and services, particularly for those that have difficulty gaining support from a bank or financial institution.
“Coinsource will always find ways to service the underbanked and unbanked; it’s a major part of our business culture, our beliefs, and why we started the company in the first place. It gives us a deep sense of personal pride knowing we can provide a valuable service to people in the lower income bracket, and let them invest in an industry on the rise,” Clark said.
Coinsource’s expansion brings their machine portfolio to over 121 nationwide. Since January, Coinsource has already installed over 50 machines. They are operational in California, Oklahoma, Nevada, Texas, Louisiana, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Arizona.
